Data Deletion Instructions

If you’ve logged into Essentially English using your Facebook account and wish to delete your data, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Facebook’s Settings

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Click on the down arrow in the upper-right corner of the Facebook homepage.
3. Select Settings & privacy from the drop-down menu.
4. Choose Settings.

Step 2: Manage Your Apps and Websites

1. In the left-hand column, click on Apps and Websites.
2. Under the Active tab, you will see a list of apps and websites you’ve logged into using Facebook.
3. Find Essentially English in the list.

Step 3: Remove Essentially English from Your Account

1. Check the box next to Essentially English.
2. Click on the Remove button.
3. Facebook will ask you to confirm that you want to remove Essentially English. Confirm by clicking Remove.

Step 4: Request Data Deletion from Essentially English

1. After removing the app from Facebook, please contact us directly at info@essentially-english.net with your Facebook user ID or the email address associated with your Facebook account.
2. In your email, please include a request for data deletion and specify that you logged in using Facebook.

Step 5: Confirmation of Data Deletion

1. Once we receive your request, we will process the deletion of your data from our servers.
2. We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.

Important Notes:

• Deleting Essentially English from your Facebook account will revoke our access to your Facebook account data. However, to ensure complete deletion of your data from our servers, please follow Step 4.
• If you do not request deletion directly from us, some of your data may remain in our system.
