Originally hailing from the busy city of Southampton in the UK, Carlie has traded the urban hustle for the serenity of a quiet hamlet in rural France. In search of a way to relax and take a break from ongoing renovation projects, she discovered a passion for watercolor painting.

Her surroundings in France, with its rich flora and fauna, along with her deep love for animals, have become the main inspirations for her artwork, which she now creates in her home studio. Carlie’s journey as an artist took off in December 2021, when she decided to test the waters by selling a few of her watercolor art cards at local Christmas markets.

What began as a simple hobby soon blossomed into a small business—something she never imagined possible, having once believed she would spend her life working in an office.
